Overview

A loan application people can actually finish.

Easy Credit is a Bulgarian consumer lending service, licensed by the Bulgarian National Bank, offering fast loans through a mobile app — from application to approval.

The existing app had been built by an external vendor with no available design files. I redesigned it from the product itself: rethinking the user experience, modernizing the UI, and reshaping the loan application into something clear enough to complete without friction.

My Role

The app had been built by an external vendor and I had no working design files to start from. I reconstructed and redesigned it from the live product — improving both the UX and the UI across the application.

Challenges

No design files to build on

The app came from an external vendor with nothing to inherit — no files, no system, no documentation.

Reconstructed the product's structure from the live app, then redesigned it screen by screen in Adobe XD.

A form too heavy to finish

The loan application asked for too much at once, making it hard to complete.

Broke it into sequential steps and stripped unnecessary fields, so each screen asks only what it needs.

Lending is complex; users aren't experts

Financial terms and conditions are dense and easy to misread.

Restructured the information so it's digestible — clear hierarchy, plain presentation, one decision at a time.
